Cabela's - Every trip gets worse and worse

I went to Cabela's once, I thought it was neat to walk around and check out the animals. I don't see us going back though, too far of a drive for not a whole lot of anything that I can't find elsewhere.

they definitely upped their prices on 7.62x39 when the panic hit. it is almost double what it was being sold for. aside from that, they've been fair. I only point this put because their most noticeable price increase hit right after I got into the market for it!

Yep, last time I bought 7.62x39 at Cabela's, I paid $4.99 per box. This time it was $7.49 per box. I guess $2.50 per box extra isn't horrible for small quantities but for larger quantities...it sucks!

Well I can say where I live in Bucks, you can find hunting ammo, tree stands, hunting equipment etc..


So Cabelas is it. Now I order most things online except for clothes and boots.

I purchase huntinv supplies from Cabelas. I purchase shooting supplies from LGS.

Bulk ammo when available.... online.

Just stay away from their hamburgers. I got a burger once, and it was like eating a dirty sponge. They keep them warm by leaving them in water. It ended up just being a pile of mush.
