I haven't worn a winter jacket yet this year. Lemme know when it's cold out.

Yeah, but you have a well-made Amish beard keeping you warm.

I work outside all day so I wear a jacket while working but the rest of the time I don't. I don't understand why people need a coat to walk from their heated car into a heated store, I do keep a jacket in the vehicle in case of emergency

I have a nice Carhart winter jacket that I bought 2 years ago. The only time I've worn it is when I tried it on. It looks nice hanging in the closet, I know it's there if I should ever need it. So far this year a flannel shirt over a T-shirt with a hoodie for a jacket has been warm enough for me.(I usually don't stay outside for long periods of time, ½ hour to walk the dog is about the maximum lately.) Gloves and a hat can help a lot. Wink

Good thinking. Even if you don't get cod between the car and where you're going to/coming from it's a good idea to be prepared for being outside for an unexpected situation. I keep "warm stuff" in the car all the time.

Those who make things happen,
Those who watch things happen,
And those who wonder what happened.

It's a lot harder to freeze to a Glock than a 1911. Smile

We have horses we self-board on a farm.

Love the Carhartt insulated bib overalls. Personal android phone goes in top pocket, work Blackberry (I know, I know) on strap. LCP in right front, wallet in left.

I can kneel right down in the snow and not feel a thing.

Also have the short jacket that I wear over the top. That material is amazing. Nothing snags it.

A decade or so back, the snow-boarders eschewed all of the designer ski-wear in favor of Carhartt work-wear, which revived the company's sinking fortunes. They've been good ever since Smile
