I suspect the doctor will be looking for new employment soon. I hope not but I doubt they will allow him to return and I'm certain they will tell him he can never wear it again. If it was his fixed place of business I don't think he needs a licence?

He probably will be...but I have no doubt someone else will be willing to hire a hero--someone who went against policy in order to keep himself and his coworkers safe, and came through when it was needed most.

As others have said in other places...better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

If his job was that crazy nutso, he might very well be happy to leave. Maybe a nice quiet practice on the other side of the state would be helpful.

Facts ... they are like a unicorn to those who hate guns, they don't believe in them. They just won't see his having a gun saved his (and possibly others) life.

Remember the case of a store where the manager was getting stabbed and a guy who was legally carrying a gun stopped it and held the guy for the police. Shortly after "no guns" signs went up on the stores window.

Taken from a similar thread on PAFOA (I heard the same thing on my local news):

Quote:The hospital said Friday it was thankful for the "brave and difficult action" taken by Silverman and his colleagues. It said he remains a full member of the medical staff and "we look forward to Dr. Silverman's return to serving patients at our hospital."
