10MM Firearms

I bought my first and only plastic firearms in 1997 when I picked up the two Glock 29 I had ordered.

One of the two Glock 29s functioned flawlessly from day one but its twin brother was a nightmare to get any sort of reliability out of. After two trips all expense paid trips to Glock they finally got it right and two reliable 29s.

I like 10s and I have twin Deltas, twin Glocks, twin 1006s, twin Kimbers, and a Bren (this is a safe queen hasn't been fired other than by Bren).

I reload for the 10s and for defense purposes I still have a couple of cases of the original Norma loading.

The Deltas have been shot loose twice and sent to Colt once and the last time to Novaks. The 1006 Smiths are the tanks and I haven't had any problems with them. One of the Glocks had the frame crack and the other had a take down pin that would work it way loose during firing sessions. Glock handled both problems by frame replacement.

I shot at least 3 times a week for practice and shoot at least two magazines of 10mm during session.

That's great to hear. I am considering getting into 10mm someday and was wondering if you had any experience with factory loads? It seems like most of them are wimpy and are like firing expensive 40 S&W, is that why you reload 10mm? Huh

I have just one 10mm at the moment but would love to add another to the stable! Probably the full sized Glock with the ported slide!

Here is my Nickle plated Colt Delta

A Reading from the Book of Armaments, Chapter 4, Verses 16 to 20:

Then did he raise on high the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch, saying, "Bless this, O Lord, that with it thou mayst blow thine enemies to tiny bits, in thy mercy." And the people did rejoice and did feast upon the lambs and toads and tree-sloths and fruit-bats and orangutans and breakfast cereals ... Now did the Lord say, "First thou pullest the Holy Pin. Then thou must count to three. Three shall be the number of the counting and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither shalt thou count two, excepting that thou then proceedeth to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the number of the counting, be reached, then lobbest thou the Holy Hand Grenade in the direction of thine foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it."

I bought my 10mm (glock 20c) on a whim. Best impulse buy ever.

It's also my open carry weapon of choice with a tlr and an extended slide release.

I would love a G20 if it was designed for human hands.
I swear, by my life and my love of it, that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for mine.

Just a joke about grip circumference. I want to like the G20/21. But even with the Sf I cannot get a decent grip on it.

That's what I figured lol. I originally didn't like glocks because of the grips, but i couldn't pass up this one. I paid 350 for it, shot the hell out of it now im comfortable with the grip and actual proficient (sp?) with it. imo lol

Don't forget Tanfoglio (imported by EAA) makes a 10mm as well.
