Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are an important part of our mission. Volunteer work weekend took place at the Elk Mountain Homestead recently. A fun and productive weekend of working side by side with your fellow lovers of Elk Country can be a rewarding experience. Young volunteers are the future of Elk Country and are always welcome to pitch in. Upcoming dates will be announced when they are available. For more information click here.

Becoming a “Member of the Keystone Elk Country Alliance"

What an exciting opportunity to be noted as part of this group! An organization’s membership show the joint effort of excitement, dedication, and most of all future dreams. Join our conservation efforts now across the Keystone State. Our members, sponsors, conservation partners, life members and chapters will be acknowledged with merchandise and a membership card. Best of all, proceeds raised by the 501©(3) Keystone Elk Country Alliance will stay right here in Pennsylvania as we focus on finishing our Visitor Center, operating our Elk Mountain Homestead, educating our youth, and accomplishing future conservation efforts.

Become a “Chapter”

Join the Keystone Elk Country Alliance team by hosting a fundraising event. The Alliance will start 2012 with several exciting fundraising events scheduled. Committees are stepping up to hold banquets – contact us now and add your group to the “Chapter” . The goal of this Pennsylvania Alliance is to join strength all across the State to continue our great conservation education heritage, work with our youth in habitat enhancement, and continue to be great stewards of the Elk Mountain Homestead and to provide a multitude of people of all ages the “premier, state of the art” Visitor Center in the United States. We have a team ready to meet with any group for further explanation, details and support on how to get started. Join your fellow PA Volunteers and lend a needed hand -- start this new year by saying…”I am the future of Pennsylvania elk country!”
