.22's & rat shot

Is there a 22 semi-auto out there that will handle shell shot/rat shot?
I have an old Marlin tube fed and it jams all the time.
Its fine with regular LR's

Or is it best to go revovler or bolt action?

~THANKS~

cci makes shotshells with the shot inside a plastic bubble on the tip. it seems that it would feed in a semi auto, though i don't think there'd be enough momentum to push the bolt back. the crimped front shotshells expand and stick in the chamber sometimes, and are harder to extract than normal 22 cartridges.

As already mentioned the shotshell rounds do not provide enough recoil to push the bolt back.

You would need to put a weaker spring in your gun for it to cycle. And even if you did that it still might not cycle right because they are kinda oddly shaped.

Best to just use in bolt, lever, revolver type guns.
