Quote:HARRISBURG - The state House on Wednesday passed a bill authorizing the Pennsylvania Game Commission to set a bounty on coyotes.

The bill, approved by a vote of 111-78, would establish a "coyote incentive program" by offering $25 for coyotes killed in the commonwealth. It's the first such bounty offered on a wild animal in 50 years.

Quote:HB1534
An Act amending Title 34 (Game) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, providing for a coyote control incentive program.

Guess who will be headed out to the LGS to buy a coyote gun with a light on it and some new electronic calls?!

$25 for each coyote? On TOP of the already high prices for pelts this year!? You're looking at $75-$100 each for yotes in the near future. Time to go huntin'! I trapped three last year in the fields behind my house without even trying. I hear them every night too. GAME ON!

I have yet to see a coyote in PA. For living in Philly, I do actually see a lot of foxes in my area, and I see lots of deer a few minutes away from my neighborhood.

That was quick! Now give me semi-auto hunting in a timely fashion because they're already waaaaaaaay behind on that one.

Let me hunt them with a semi auto and I'll wipe out every single one in NEPA.
