$26.67 / month

[venting] Yesterday morning I was speaking to someone who wanted to vote for Obama. The sole reason is that she believed that Romney would shut down Planned Parenthood and she would no longer be able to get free birth control.

She mentioned that her birth control would otherwise cost her $80 every three months.

For $26.67/month, Obama bought her vote. How pathetically cheap some people are when it comes to voting. "Rights? Freedoms? Who cares! I just want $26.67 more a month." Rolleyes

Unfortunately, thought processes like this - I believe - played a huge roll in why Obama is still in office. Angry [/venting]

not my post but true:

Benghazi didn't matter, crippling debt didn't matter, gruesome unemployment didn't matter, off-mic promises to adverse heads of state didn't matter, high food, and gas prices didn't matter, record food stamp rolls didn't matter, loss of freedoms didn't matter, multiple broken promises didn't matter. What did matter was free birth-control, mediocre overpriced healthcare paid for by our kids, forcibly taking from some to give pittance to others, getting even with the successful, revenge mattered. We have now tipped from a country founded on personal freedom based in a capitalistic economic system to a collective society on the road to redistribution and socialism. Congratulations, now explain to your kids why they are each fifty thousand dollars in debt and how it is better to settle than excel. The question do negative campaigns work has been answered.

Not my kids. I took care of that little maze a couple years ago.

Do I feel for the people that didn't?.........hell yeah. Like I mentioned in my other thread.....this is a very dark day in American history.

There was a "women/choice" person with "voter guides" sitting FEET away from where I voted.

I reported it - AND the Republican representative doing the same as I entered the building.
That shit belongs outside. My polling place is a circus.

And yeah, most people vote based on what will benefit them directly. No shocker there.

BIRTH CONTROL!?!? THIS WOMAN VOTED ON THE ISSUE OF BIRTH CONTROL? I have to give the the dinosaur mainstream media and Obama campaign credit for being able to convince voters on these petty single issues. Let me also credit the abysmal government run public schools for failing to teach another American the critical thinking skills, knowledge, and logic needed to see the big picture.

How careless and unwise to vote on one issue? Birth control is really trivial and meaningless in the grand scheme of things.

I guess it's not trivial if you're a slut.

The republicans should heavily promote birth control for the liberals, might turn the tide someday.
