.41 Remington Magnum
Ok folks... What are your favorite loads for .41 Remington Magnum?

I just recently acquired a Ruger New Model Blackhawk in .41mag and have begun loading for it.

My initial loads are as follows:

8 grains of Unique powder
215 grain hard cast SWC
Federal LPP

8.5 grains of Unique
215 grain hard cast SWC
Federal LPP

I have not had a chance to shoot these yet. I'll have to wait for a nice day when I can get the chronograph out for velocity testing.

Most load data ranged from 8 grains of Unique up to 10+grains but were for 210 grain bullets, both jacketed soft points and SWC types.

Anyway... I'll post up data once I have some.
Is Unique your only powder choice? I found it to be pretty dirty in my 357 Mag loads. Looking to grab some IMR 4227, which will also work for your 41 Mag. I will keep you informed how it works.

Unique is what I have open and on hand. I also have Power Pistol and Winchester 231. I have not loaded anything with either of those yet.
