A Sign Prices May Soon Fall

The other bad thing is that we haven't seen what will become of all these mag bans and gun bans...if the bills get heated up again, BOOM! There goes another frenzy. I hate to say iy but it needs to get worse before it can get better.

A Reading from the Book of Armaments, Chapter 4, Verses 16 to 20:

Then did he raise on high the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch, saying, "Bless this, O Lord, that with it thou mayst blow thine enemies to tiny bits, in thy mercy." And the people did rejoice and did feast upon the lambs and toads and tree-sloths and fruit-bats and orangutans and breakfast cereals ... Now did the Lord say, "First thou pullest the Holy Pin. Then thou must count to three. Three shall be the number of the counting and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither shalt thou count two, excepting that thou then proceedeth to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the number of the counting, be reached, then lobbest thou the Holy Hand Grenade in the direction of thine foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it."

I've seen proof of this firsthand. Yesterday, at Gun Toters, I saw DPMS (optics-ready) on the shelf for $899! That, and one of the guys who runs it said that they'd be receiving more rifles in the next few days; they haven't given in to the gouging trend.

i'm not calling the fight by any means, but i believe the awb and mag limits are pretty much dead on the federal level for now. i fully expect the anti's to push through something that will set the stage for an awb in the future, but not this year. mental checks on universal background checks is probably what they will use to accomplish this. then, anyone that's so much as looked the wrong way at another person is going to become disallowed.

^ That sums up my opinion as well. It is imperative the republicans don't lose any more seats in the house in 2014. If the dems get the house and remain in control of the senate in 2014, you can bet an AWB and mag capacity limit will get passed at the very first "gun massacre" for that year. They'll run on emotions like they tried to do this time, but the republicans in the house will have no effect at stopping them.

How about ammo? I bought ammo a few weeks back that would normally cost me around $65 but it ended costing me $110. I wasn't thrilled with the price but I am jonesing to shoot something, I haven't shot any of my firearms since Christmas. Please tell me ammo is starting to become more available and at a lower price. Undecided

Exactly.

I don't know why people think that all these people who paid that much will "flood the market with low-priced rifles".
I've seen a lot of people suggest that this will happen, and in TIME those sellers may have no choice, but initially, nobody is going to want to take a huge loss on something they paid "too much" for.

They will when they get laid off and need the cash.

It will eventually happen. They'll sell at half what they paid.
A gun rack in a pick-up is not for holding guns. Its a place for women to hold on to. Smile
