One awesome… the other, not so much.

It's the "BILL OF RIGHTS" not the bill of "needs"

One dealing with crippling destruction unseen in the history of the state and another angry about illegal immigrants migrating through the state... which occurred for several Presidencies before O. Not a fair comparison at all.

Perhaps not to this extreme, but failure to enforce the border is not sovereign territory of the sitting President. And again, you can't compare the scenarios in which these pictures took place.

I give Christie credit for being very outspoken where Obama's failings are concerned. I don't think anyone other than Sununu has been a harsher critic.

In this case, he's dealing with a catastrophe likely not to be seen again in our lifetime. He has to reach out wherever he can for assistance. It won't help his cause if he plays politics.
He was the sort of person who stood on mountaintops during thunderstorms in wet copper armour shouting "All the Gods are bastards."

Oh of course, how dare he give the President any respect. He should blow off the President right, shout in his face and insult him? Call him OhBlowMe and call his wife a wookie right? He should just always be on attack to destroy the President.

Please, the massage of this thread is absurd. He's doing what he can to help the people of his state. He wants the President out of office, but that's irrelevant to disaster aid efforts and he knows that.

One looks situationally appropriate, the other shouldn't be taking anyone to task in public.

A very poor comparison, IMO.
A gun rack in a pick-up is not for holding guns. Its a place for women to hold on to. Smile
