Quote:Appearing on today's Hardball, Kane came out with this mind-boggler: "I think the people of Pennsylvania would accept a limit on the amount of clips. You know, I believe and I think a lot of people feel the same way that you don't have a right to go into a classroom and take down a class of children in under a minute." Really going out on a limb there, Rising Star! View the video after the jump. - See more at: http://newsbusters.org/blogs/mark-finkel...AmLmK.dpuf

The good news is that she can't do jack shit. She doesn't make the laws, she only is supposed to enforce them. So that retard can just sit back down in her chair and continue letting Nutter lick her pussy

You do realize, Amigo, that she intends to run for governor in the next election, don't you?

I think people need to put this into the proper perspective. This is not a politician that tends to side with the anti-gun crowd. This is a true anti-gun activist with a legitimate shot at becoming the next Governor of our state. Actually, I'll say she is PROBABLY our next Governor.

The "go ahead and try it" mentality is very dangerous. Every time she tries something like this she'll be in the news gaining name recognition in the Dem hotspots of the state. All she has to do is win Philly and a few areas and we'll have a full assault on guns. If she wins a second term we'll have a gun grab.

Or just-as-bad/worse: The expectation is that so is U.S. Rep. Allyson Schwartz ...

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Rep. Allyson Schwartz (PA-13) strongly supported President Obama’s recommendations today to reduce gun violence and ensure our communities are safe.

“Now is the time for us to take action to end the senseless loss of life that occurs almost daily across our country due to gun violence.

“I applaud President Obama and Vice President Biden for reaching out to the many factions in this debate and calling for meaningful action to reduce gun violence. I strongly support the President’s proposal announced today, which represents a comprehensive plan to keep guns out of the wrong hands, increase gun safety, and prevent future acts of gun violence.

“While President Obama took executive action today to reduce gun violence, there is still more work to be done to ensure our communities, our children and our schools are safe. I pledge to do all I can to ensure that Congress takes action now, not only for those who tragically lost their lives in Newtown, but for all the victims of gun violence in this country.”

The President’s plan includes:

Closing background check loopholes to keep guns out of dangerous hands;
Banning military-style assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, and taking other common-sense steps to reduce gun violence;
Making schools safer; and
Increasing access to mental health services.

In the 113th Congress, Schwartz has co-sponsored several bills aimed at curbing gun violence including:

The NRA Members’ Gun Safety Act (H.R. 21), which seeks to implement five common sense gun safety reforms that polling shows are supported by at least 63 percent of NRA members.
Fire Sale Loophole Closing Act (H.R. 93), which would make it illegal for a gun dealer whose license has been revoked to give or sell their inventory to an individual gun collector or to an employee.

Gun Show Loophole Closing Act (H.R. 141), which would expand background checks to require background checks on all gun sales, closing the gun-show loophole.

Large Capacity Ammunition Feeding Device Act (H.R. 138), which would bar the sale or gift of large-capacity ammunition feeding devices.

Stop Online Ammunition Sales Act (H.R. 142), which would bar internet sales of ammunition. Require licenses for ammunition dealers. Require reporting of bulk purchases of ammunition.
Buyback Our Safety Act (H.R. 227), which would establish a gun buyback grant program.

In addition, Schwartz is currently working with her colleagues to repeal existing prohibitions on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Institutes of Health (NIH), and Health and Human Services (HHS) to conduct crucial scientific research into firearm safety. Gun violence is a public health issue and public health agencies should have the ability to develop and pursue violence prevention and mental health research.

I had hoped that she would be happy screwing things up in Washington. Oh, well, here we go again. Confused
