AK Ammo recommendations
#1
Been a while since I purchased any AK ammo. But it has finally happened, and I'm down to around a thousand rounds and wanted to get the stock built back up again.

Anyone got any ammo out there that they love?

Any recommendations of ammo to stay away from now a days?

Want to get some bought soon, so lets hear what you guys think. What ammo do you think I should go with?

And do you have any recommendations on where to buy it from?

Honestly, I've never really heard anyone complain about any ak ammo.

I've used sgammo in the past and liked them.

You can also check out this site which gives you a price comparison for ammo from different stores.

The only thing I would personally do is stay away from surplus ammo that might be corrosive. It adds an extra step cleaning the gun.

Walmart generally carries ak ammo for about 5.25 after tax for a box of twenty. Not the best but not bad. They carry Tul ammo which I've never had a problem with.[/b]

It is funny how times and opinions have changed. I found a forum that had a thread on this. It was back in 2008. Everyone on that sight went on about how crappy Wolf Ammo was. I have had pretty good luck with it.

But is has been a while since I bought a bunch of ammo. And was curious is anything out there was standing out amongst the other brands.
