ALERT: All National Anti-Gun Bills
#11
Gee, I'm astounded Doyle and Brady, the only 2 Pa. congress critters on the list, are signing on to all the anti bills. Considering that they've always been anti twits this holds no interest. Look at the names on those bills, they all belong to the minority party, or at least the vast majority do, I don't know all of them from other states. Smile

I will keep up my calls to my reps about these bills. Thank you for the time you dedicate to us allowing us to remain informed of there actions. Anyone reaching out to there reps would not be able to do so as informed as they and as much as they are if we all had to ge researching this information.

No thank YOU for doing your part brother. I usually check the bill status as well as reading through the list of bills daily since the 113th began. There are other bills not listed but they either have only one cosponsor or no cosponsor so far. There are also a few pro-gun bills not listed as well, the focus here is for bills that want to restrict our second amendment rights. I hope this makes it easier for everyone to use as a reference but I also encourage anyone else who is willing to look through the complete list of current bills in case there is something I've missed along the road.

The strategy for now should be to hold our ground and prevent any anti gun laws. Pro gun laws are secondary at the moment. If we lose ground now, the fight later will be much harder.

Good post...lets make this sticky!

A Reading from the Book of Armaments, Chapter 4, Verses 16 to 20:

Then did he raise on high the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch, saying, "Bless this, O Lord, that with it thou mayst blow thine enemies to tiny bits, in thy mercy." And the people did rejoice and did feast upon the lambs and toads and tree-sloths and fruit-bats and orangutans and breakfast cereals ... Now did the Lord say, "First thou pullest the Holy Pin. Then thou must count to three. Three shall be the number of the counting and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither shalt thou count two, excepting that thou then proceedeth to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the number of the counting, be reached, then lobbest thou the Holy Hand Grenade in the direction of thine foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it."

Its actually in the wrong forum subsection. I messaged streaker about it, don't know if he missed it or cant change it but it should be under the national gun related politics section not the general national politics.

I just added H.R.93 to the original post because after reading through the text again I think there may be some very negative implications to this bill. This could apply to any dealers, C&R collectors etc from being able to do anything with their inventory other than turn them over if the feds just up and decide to deny license renewals "for our safety". Maybe I'm reading too much into this.

A C&R license isn't a business license. There's no transfer of anything if the C&R expires. It's already in your name. When a regular FFL goes out of business, they can transfer their entire inventory into their own name and liquidate off the books but regular transfer laws apply.
