So, I recommend Martin Towers as the rally point, btw. Unoccupied, central location, lowes across the street, three grocerie stores, a liquor store, and two gas stations within raiding distance. Extremely defensible with some improvised fortifications, with plenty of room for everyone plus their families, gear, and grub.

I live a block away from it.

Checking in from the sprawling metropolis of Schnecksville. Martin Towers is physically a good spot, but logistically, way too close to the city, IMO.

Initial defensible rally point, not a long term solution. Plus, it does have a bomb shelter. And parking. Ideas for a more remote hardened fall-back?

Two words, Ski Resort.

Food, water, lodging, heavy equip, generators, topographical advantage.

I'm kinda in the middle (location) of both of them. Either one would do. My buddies and I were leaning towards the other one, actually. Although, I do have some fam right up by Blue. Theres a private golf course up there off of 946 that could be fruitful as well.

Thing is, I'm sure I'm not the first guy in the LVA to envision these locations as strong holds should the shit ever go down.

Get your shit. Get there quick. Stake your claim. Defend it.
