ammo prices

just noticed on 2 different websites that the prices on the .223/5.56 along with most calibers is starting to drop and they have a decent amount in stock. Thinking it's a good sign to see .223/5.56 drop from 999.00/1000 rds down to 900.00 to 945.00 depending on brand. hoping it keeps dropping and gets back to what is was 4 months ago.

The day of the shooting, I was able to get xm193 for $352 for 1k rounds.

My last 2 bulk purchases were 500rnds Federal brown box XM193 I paid 139.00 delivered, and 420rnds Federal XM855 in ammo can on 30rnd stripper clips for 140.00 delivered. These were made about 2 months before the madness started.

So that's about .28 cents a rnd for XM193 and about .30 cents a rnd for the XM855, when it approaches these prices again I'll start buying bulk, until then i'll just pick up a couple hundred here and there.

wow never would have guessed that prices were that low before the shooting. I saw that 39 pretty much doubled in price for 1000 rnds. Well hopefully soon we can start seeing ammo back at closer to the previous prices. I really want to get a good stock so if this happens again I am not left screwed.

Yes it was a lot cheaper months before the election and shooting, now it's just crazy expensive.

I still have a bunch that I paid 120.00 per 1k, and it's good stuff, Winchester Q3131a Israeli made. If I only had a crystal ballShrug.
