Amputee shoots walmart manager in Alaska

Um, wow, okay. This guy was in a bad mood. I knew I should be scared of the people in those electric carts...(j/k)

I think I've been at this Walmart. (Have to ask my brother to make sure.) I took a picture of it because it had to be the most beautiful Walmart in America. Its a nice rustic wooden decor with a backdrop of amazing mountains.

With the same crazy people as every other Walmart, evidently.

Oh yeah. My required quote:

Quote: A double amputee shot a Walmart manager Saturday after he was asked to put his service dog on a leash, Anchorage police said.

An off-duty police officer who was shopping at the time detained the suspect as he was trying to leave the store, said Anita Shell, a police spokeswoman.

Daniel Pirtle, 45, was questioned at police headquarters and charged with assault and misconduct involving a weapon. He was jailed and cash only bail was set at $50,000.

Edited to add my photo I took of the Anchorage Walmart. Getting dark around 3:30-4:00pm in November. Or I guess it could have been outside of Anchorage...I have to double check. Regardless, it was in Alaska, and it was a pretty Walmart. haha.

Alaska seems to have more than it's share of crazies, drunks and druggies.

If the story is correct, sounds like the guy doesn't have a leg to stand on . . .

I know, terrible.
This will be the best security for maintaining our liberties. A nation of well-informed men who have been taught to know and prize the rights which God has given them cannot be enslaved. It is in the religion of ignorance that tyranny begins. -Ben Franklin

Nope.
