An old man's thoughts about the AR 15
#1
In 1964 I was 20 & not old enough to vote or buy alcohol, but Uncle Sam made me carry an AR-15 even though I happy with the Thompson in jungle.

I'm 68 now the same government is trying to tell me I can't have an AR.

When I was 20, I shook hands with/protected the then president, no s.s. around. I was trusted to do this while carrying a real "assault weapon", and a pistol... all with "high capacity" magazines.

Now, nearing 40 and having only one parking ticket on my record, this government (i say "this government" because it is no longer "my government"... the refuse to listen to me or represent my lawful, constitutional interests) doesn't trust me to have these things.
tolerance for failure meter... LOW
