Ann Coulter rails against NRA’s Wayne LaPierre

Quote:Ann Coulter rails against NRA’s Wayne LaPierre

On Sean Hannity’s radio show last Friday with Mark Simone filling in for Hannity, conservative commentator and author Ann Coulter expressed her dissatisfaction with National Rifle Association CEO Wayne LaPierre, particularly his “Meet the Press” appearance on NBC from a week ago.

Coulter suggested LaPierre and other gun supporters should become familiar with the works of John Lott, whose 1998 book “More Guns, Less Crime” makes an argument against limiting the number of firearms.

“The NRA needs a better spokesman. I was watching Wayne LaPierre on ‘Meet The Press’ this weekend and — is he the only gun rights supporter who has not read John Lott’s book?” Coulter wondered. “When he was asked by David Gregory, ‘is your objective, of the NRA, to have as few people killed as possible — something to that effect — a few children killed?’ There was hemming and hawing … the answer is: Get this right-wingers, get this gun supporters: yes, yes, yes!”

Conservatives eating their own yet again.
And we wonder why we are in this hole?

As much as I despise Libtards, they stick together and that's why we are FUBAR.

that is one of the reasons why i have not joined the nra. i think its sad they have to resort to lowering the membership fee and giving you a gift card to join. maybe if the nra was on the same page as us, people like me would join

Divided we are falling.
We have a potential 50-100 million members yet our voices are muted because we have
4 Million.
Keep rationalizing why you don't join and you WILL lose your rights.

You're only screwed if you give up. Those who gave us these rights in the first place NEVER gave up....NEVER.
I see a lot of talk and no action...thats what I see.

There are zero legitimate excuses for not joining the NRA. They are the heavyweight in this fight. No other gun group is ever mentioned in the fight for our rights. No one was waiting for GOA or SAF to speak after Sandy Hook.

Join, get your Bass Pro gift card, (which everyone of us can use) and throw the mailings away. It's about numbers and the more members they can claim, the bigger their influence is.

I really don't get this "they aren't perfect so I won't join" attitude. Maybe it's an affliction of the young. I see much cutting off your nose to spite your face mentality. It's unfortunate because we all pay for it.

I just joined and so you know i did i posted the email they sent me. I never said i was giving up and i would still like to see the real numbers of the membership drive. i have a feeling that most of the 80 to 100 million gun owners dont give a shit.

A lot of us younger guys haven't seen the importance of the NRA because everything they do is behind the scenes. To me the NRA has always somewhat resembled a union for gun owners. I did not realize the importance until this latest shitstorm. I still hold reservations that they may submit and compromise, and I will drop them the moment they do. But right now I see how important the numbers are.

I've said before, without the NRA, you younger guys wouldn't even know what a gun is. It would have been purged from the dictionary decades ago.
