Im looking at getting one so as to familiarize myself with the type for training purposes. As Im looking at getting it not for EDC, for $229, doesnt look like that bad of a proposition. Anyone have any experience with it? Its 38special btw......

That makes 2 of us who are interested. Everything i read on them is good quality, low cost revolver. Trying to locate one is like trying to find the golden unicorn.

My dad has one. Not bad for the price. Arsmcor has great customer service and warranty work if there is an issue. His shoots straight. The trigger really isn't that bad.
Not what I would call a high volume shooter. I wouldn't feed it a steady diet of +P. "Here and there won't hurt it" (from Ivan@ Armscor).

Good bang for the buck. Fairly light. Grips are cheap though but are easy to hang onto. Pachmyers for a Colt Detective Special fit. Takes HKS DSA speed loaders. Fits OK in a S&W K frame holster. Slightly smaller frame. Closer to a Colt D frame.

Has a parkerized finish. Not sure yet how it will hold up. Seems decent though. Its different to see that on a wheelgun.

Cylinder play is not terrible. At the price it won't lock up like a Colt but you would expect worse.

Some have reported in the past (2010) having timing issues while rapid firing. Haven't seen any issues in his yet.

For $200 bucks they are not a bad deal at all.

Ack. I was thinking "Oooh. I've been wanting a revolver, and $200ish wouldn't break the bank!"

.38spcl only. Bleh.
If and when I get a revolver it will be a .357 magnum

Thank you! I have a RIA 1911 and love it. I never looked into a revolver before. I just need one to familiarize myself with the platform for some classes and didnt want to spend too much money on something I may not really use that often.

Thank you! But my LGS doesnt carry that one. I had seen a beautiful Ruger, real work of art, but it was almost $500 for something I really didnt want.

My goal is a to do the NRA classes so as to become an instructor. Ive been helping people on a casual basis, would like to do it more formally.

Windicators are solid. Pop was looking for one but none could be found at the time.

Space If you can get the M200 otd under 230ish I'd buy one.
