No super size sodas in NYC and now Rahm "Deadfish" Emanual in Chicago is trying to ban any vending machines that dispense sugar snacks.

The liberal controlled EPA is on your ass for everything.

It goes on and on, yet the idiots keep voting the libs in while believing their utter lies.

I don't see anyone arguing that all Republicans are perfect, or that all Republicans are conservative, or even that no Republicans ever do harm.

The point that we are making is that the liberal-democrat-socialists have permeated all or most of the basic institutions of our society and use those institutions to change public opinion in their favor. They do so in the name of "justice" and "fairness". But their ideology seeks to abandon the rule of law, in order to be set free from the restrictions of law upon the state.

The rule of law demands that laws be applied equally. But if people with unequal skills and unequal wealth receive the same equal law, those people remain just as unequal as they were before. So, socialism seeks to apply the law "unequally" in order to result in equality. This leaves the distribution of resources to arbitrary rulings, which is of course contrary to the rule of law. And when we are subject to arbitrary rulings, we are no longer free because rules are no longer predictable and violation of the rule is therefore no longer avoidable. We can no longer use rational thought and free will to avoid rulings that are contrary to our own best interest. Therefore we are caught in a trap, subjects of our socialist government.

This is what socialism offers. Yet, it is hidden from view and most Americans fail to recognize the danger. They think they are voting for equality, when in fact, they are voting for the loss of freedom.

Conservatism, built on individual rights and limited government seeks to ensure freedom. Our duty is to preserve it.
