I would be more concerned that the shop will sell whatever it is they are holding out from under you.

That's the more likely scenario, and doesn't delay any urgency in getting the goods you want before you can't for whatever reason.

I've put deposits on the items so I hope not.

I would hope not too.

Did I tell mention how I was planning to get a $700 AR-15 at the beginning of the month of Dec but decided to put it off until January, and planned to get a cheap .22 for myself for Christmas instead?

These statements represent your biggest legitimate worry. It is getting pretty cut throat out there. If you have the opportunity to do so I would pick them all up ASAP. Trust me you will feel better afterward.

Creating this thread makes you overly paranoid.
I'm only here for the 'Foxes with Firearms' thread.

If they take our guns, who will protect our children?

Should I take the day off and pick them up this morning or am I just being overly panicked??

" Following recommendations presented to him by VP Joe Biden, Pres. Obama will announce at the White House his proposals to reduce gun violence. Reports have said that he plans to ask Congress to pass legislation to ban assault weapons, prohibit the sale of large capacity magazines clips and universal background checks. The President may also announce several executive orders which will take effect immediately to curb the violence."

Not paranoid enough.

1st off they are the corrupt government poisoning us from all angles and do a lot of illegal stuff against Americans so I wouldn't take faith in the system that it couldn't be put into affect right away .
2nd i sleep great having what i have in the house and my kids sleep as they did before i got them (they can sleep through a freight train running through the house) my wife is nervous of them because until she met me a little over a yr ago she never had guns around at all.I'm hoping she gets better once I can find somewhere local other then a gun range to take her and teach her how to use them .

LOL. I had my new hunting rifle sitting at the LGS waiting for the scope mount and rings to come in so I could pay for everything at once.

Went in and paid for it and had the check done just in case the rules changed today when BHO gave his EO talk.

It didn't cost me any extra money, so why not.

LGS was busy.
A gun rack in a pick-up is not for holding guns. Its a place for women to hold on to. Smile

I did speak to an FFL today who said that the entire PICS system was down during Obama's speech. Then the "technical problems" were fixed shortly after it was done. That is where the control lies!

Could you imagine if credit card company systems did the same thing at random?

It's all about control.
