Belt-carried pepper spray
#1
Okay, so I try to carry pepper spray as a prudent non-lethal option.

My LCP in a DeSantis pocket holster owns my right-front pocket real-estate.

My wallet owns my left-front (sciatica sucks).

I don't relish key-ring carry (it's hard enough finding a spot for the keys considering the above).

So I really prefer belt-carry of the little gas canister. I find, though, that molded plastic clip on the little Ruger-branded spray can't really handle the thickness and width of the belt I wear to ensure that the LCP doesn't pull my pants down 1mm at a time with every step.

Anybody found either a holster/spray combo or spray with built in clip that's a bit more on the substantial size? And which, by the way, doesn't cost the earth?

What's the diameter of the pepper spray can? They sell kydex holsters with flashlight holders attached.

I'm looking for a stand-alone solution, but it just occurred to me--- maybe a holster for something like a Swiss Army knife.

Wife used my old Safariland pepper spray holder. The loop is good for up to 1.75" belts.

So I ended up with a Bianchi Accumold 7307 Pepper OC Black Spray Pouch.

It definitely has plenty of room, while being reasonably compact and discreet.

Of course it has SO much room that I started to consider whether the Ruger gun-show special spray might just be in for an upgrade, so I've got a canister of the Defense Technology Mk 3 product coming.

Have you tried using belly bands. You could open carry and hold your pepper spray in the same thing. Just a suggestion
