Beretta px4 sub compact
#1
Friends,

I'm looking for a sub-compact .40, and the Beretta P4X sub compact caught my eye.

I know it will be uglier than sin to some, but there is something about it I like.

Has anyone here had any experiences they can share?

Thanks

Justin

Had one traded it away. Very soft shooter in 9mm

It just seemed a little to bulky to be a subcompact, and not enough capacity for a compact. It feels nice in the hand but it's pretty heavy.
I swear, by my life and my love of it, that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for mine.

Thanks for the info. I'm gonna have to try to find one to shoot before making a decision.

I own 9mm PX4 in full size, compact and sub-compact. My least favorite of these is the sub-compact. In order. To make the sub work properly, Beretta had to scrub the rotating barrel system for a traditional lock up. It does shoot well, but the bulky feel does not lend itself to carry very well.

I carry my compact PX4 in a Crossbreed Supertuck and I like it very much. Comfortable and 15rd capacity makes it my choice. Hope this info helps!

I bought one for my oldest son to shoot the 9mm version. He has large hands so the grip size is no problem for him. It has over 2000 rounds through it now and has proven to be 100 percent reliable and accurate for him. I have contemplated getting one in 45 ACP still have not made up my mind on that yet. Still its a good pistol. Brian /EFR
