Biden: Expect new laws about how guns are stored at home
#1
Quote:Vice President Joe Biden predicted that laws about how people store weapons in their own homes are coming, though he acknowledged such bills would “find the limits” of the Heller case that overturned the gun ban in Washington D.C.

“I think you’re going to see some initiatives that are going to come along to find the limits of that D.C. case,” Biden said during a Facebook town hall with Parents Magazine, referring to legislation that would ensure “that a loaded weapon is not in the reach of a stranger or a family member who is not competent to use it.”

It's the "BILL OF RIGHTS" not the bill of "needs"

"Whereas gun violence is deemed a public health hazard, the secretary shall direct that home inspections for proper storage of firearms shall be conducted no more than once per year. Failure to comply with a lawful inspection of firearms shall be punishable by 1 year in FPMITA Prison and a $1,000,000 (ONE MILLION US DOLLARS) Fine."

Why do they have such a boner for restricting the second amendment? There are a ton of things I am not interested in, but you don't see me doing whatever it takes to get rid of them.

Because it is the one thing that stops them from completely tearing everything down.
The law? The law is a human institution...

This is the question that the media should analyze. The answer is no doubt, horrifying.

Aside from the obvious theoretical situation of having guns secreted around the house for unanticipated emergencies.....The guns that I carry on my person at all times while at home are theoretically "loaded and within reach of a stranger or family member who is not competent to use" them. I guess they too would need to be locked up and unloaded at all times eh?

Well, I don't let strangers in my house and my family can competently handle firearms. This wont apply, right? Rolleyes

P.S. Maybe I missed this, but I didn't see this in the article. Where did this come from?

Because, "A well-regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed."

The 2A is the fail-safe in America against a tyrannical government, and they know this. Want to rule America? Do away with the "bitter, gun-clinging" people first. Then who is left to stop you?

Joe must be walking around on crutches by now from shooting himself in the foot all the time. How the hell does he come up with these ideas?

I don't have to let anyone into my home, nor will I ever. Like publican, I too carry in my home as well.
"The colors, the colors. Has anybody seen my good friend John?" Then he lit up a banana and he hung up.

Ahem, it's a joke, a take on Office Space. FPMITA Prison is "federal pound me in the @55 prison". Cool

I think the rest of it is from the wording of the WA state proposed bill.

This shit is flyin' fast and furious now. They really want to get any kind of controls they can score, as fast as they can. Obama's 2nd term is not going to disappoint in that regard, it would seem.
