Biden Summons Hollywood to Talk Guns

TheWrap.com reports Biden has asked several industry giants, including MPAA Chairman Chris Dodd and National Cable and Telecommunications Association President Michael Powell, to take part in the administration's panel on finding the root causes of gun violence.

How do the utterly clueless get to the head of the table ?? Biden couldn't.....nevermind

This is a good thing for several reasons.

It is part of what the NRA is asking for. They say violence in movies, TV and video games should be looked at before we start banning guns. So let Biden look at that. Maybe if they contemplate restricting 1st amendment rights more people will understand that this is a constitutional issue.

The more issues they bring to the table the more complicated this will get and the longer it will take. The longer it takes, the less of an emotional knee jerk solution we will get.

I agree. Perhaps if the 1A is attacked the same way the 2A is, more people will begin to understand the Left's maniacal desire for control. Start proposing heavy taxes for films that feature any violence, placing limits on how many guns can be used in every movie, and require government permission to film any movie with any violence in it... no matter how slight.

Then maybe those chuckle heads in La-la Land will finally start to get it.
