Bolt Action or Lever Action or Pump Action or ?
#1
All right so I'm really bored right now, and just like when I am always bored my mind starts to wander. Hypothetically speaking, let's say all semi-auto rifles are banned and your current semi-auto rifles can't be grandfathered into the new law. ALL OF YOUR SEMI-AUTO RIFLES ARE NO LONGER IN YOUR POSSESSION. Yeah, yeah I know you won't turn them in or they fell off a boat, etc. Just pretend while you were sleeping the gun fairy broke into your house and retrieved all of your semi-auto rifles. So which type of rifle would you get to replace them? Would you prefer a bolt action rifle, lever action rifle, pump action rifle, or some other kind of action that I didn't mention? Which caliber would you prefer?

For me personally, as of right now I would probably choose a lever action rifle chambered in .45LC or .30-30. My second (not very far behind my first choice) choice would be the Ruger Gunsite Scout Rifle in .308.

Well since pump action may be on the block I think I would choose a lever action 30/30 or 30/06 yes the do make laver action 30/06. Those would be my first two choices.

I've always wanted a rifle in .416 Rigsby but at $9.25 and up per round...

I figure I will settle for another Remington 700 this time in .308

A .357 magnum lever gun with a 16" barrel will hold 9 +1

If that ever happened, I would get the safest rifle out there, according to the hippies.

A simple bolt action rifle.

I would have the left. The right is .50bmg. The right, is 20mm. But it is safe, it is bolt action, and not high capacity.

44 mag in a 10+1 lever paired with a revolver in the same. second would be a 45colt in a 10+1 lever paired with a revolver in the same. third would be a 357mag 10+1 lever paired with a revolver in the same.
the fabrication doesn't stop in the shop, that's what the field guys are for.
