Brady Suing Aurora Ammo Supplier
#1
Quote:The Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence will sue the online gun dealers who sold weapons to Aurora Theater shooter James Holmes, according to a a local news report.

“The lawsuit alleges that the websites negligently supplied Holmes with the arsenal he used to kill 12 people and wound at least 58 others by failing to use any screening mechanism to determine his identity or intent for the products,” the Brady Center said in a press release.

Is it wrong for me to hope he bought the ammo from Dicks or Cheaper than Dirt?
Ammunition, it's the new lead bullion. Buy it cheap and stack it deep.

I hope that they get countersued for filing a SLAPP suit, and pay through the nose!

I wish we could sue the Brady Campaign for harassing gun owners by attacking and trying to limit our rights.

In the case of the ammo supplier, Lucky Gunner, it'd be like suing the gas station for supplying gasoline for the car. Where does the stupidity end?

It’s really a great thing that anybody no matter how small or big can sue anybody, not matter how small or big. Although in this case I’m not sure how they will prove that they ‘negligently supplied Holmes with the arsenal he used to kill 12 people and wound at least 58 others by failing to use any screening mechanism to determine his identity or intent for the products’ unless there is a major detail left out. I’m pretty sure there is some sort of Fed law which protects gun and ammo sellers as long as no laws were broken.

This is all about reaching a settlement, claiming a victory,
and using the publicity to force congress to limit online ammo purchases.
