TAKE ACTION NOW: Oppose Sen. Kevin "Ghost Gun" de León's Ammo Ban

SB 53 would:

Create a DOJ registration database of all ammunition vendors, purchasers, and purchases.
Effectively ban online ammo sales as we know it.
Mandate another costly license for gun owners and ammo sellers to acquire.
Ban private sales and transfers of ammo.
Eliminate thousands of ammunition “points of purchase” in the state and significantly increase the cost for law-abiding people to exercise their fundamental Second Amendment rights.
Eradicate thousands of California businesses currently engaging in the lawful sales of ammunition for self-defense and sporting purposes at the cost of potentially thousands of jobs and millions of dollars in lost state and local tax revenues.
Exempt a massive new regulatory implementation by the Department of Justice from the Administrative Procedure Act and public scrutiny.

Please share this urgent FIRE MISSION on Facebook, Twitter, and forward it to all of your pro-gun family and friends: http://us7.campaign-archive2.com/?u=7b69...bd5f0ff703

Imagine if they did with the 4th amendment what they do with the 2nd? A this point the police would be having DUI style checkpoints where they body cavity search everyone with no probable cause. They would be gene testing people and imprisoning them if they were found out to have genes associated with violence. Rolleyes

I for the life of me can not figure out how any of these gun control laws do not violate the "shall not be infringed" stipulation of the second. Each one of these laws is so obviously an infringement. It's another case of the courts acting for what they perceive as being the common good rather than doing their fucking job and interpreting the laws as they are written.

Also how the fuck are they going to be able to tell the difference between reloaded brass found at the gun range and a box of fresh bullets that someone has just successfully jumped though all of their flaming hoops for. I cannot imagine what this will do to ammo prices. Competitive shooting as we know it will vanish in that state. Even without the bullshit, it's not uncommon for a standard range visit to cost $100 in ammo.
