Central PA Group Shoot 7-25-15

Anyone else going? I've got room for 7 other people if anyone wants to carpool. I'm right off interstate 80 and about 20-30 minutes south west of the location.

Well as it turns out I've got a lot of things to bring and I'll be filling those new crates I just got with guns/ammo/sell&swap. Add a card table, canopy and folding chairs and a friend of mine and all his stuff and I'll have room for maybe one more depending on what your bringing.

You can pack a surprisingly good amount of cargo in these Excursions though. Until I can get a 5 ton with bench seats and canopy it'll have to do for now Big Grin

Thought I'd bump this thread over here. Anyone planning on attending?

Just a few milk jugs and 2 liters, prepped and ready for their sacrifice on Saturday. I should be getting some more before the end of the week...

Now, time to make some portable stands for some steel plates. I'll have at least one set up for a 12" AR500 plate for rifles at 100+ yards and probably a stand for some 8" targets for pistols.

I'm looking for a target rich environment. Big Grin

Just put the finishing touches on the portable target stand. I probably won't be making another though, I just don't have any more time to spare this week.

Thanks! Did all the welding myself.

This target is free to use for everyone too btw. Only rules I will have is that if anyone wants to shoot at it they only use lead core projectiles and that the bullets are slower than 3,000 feet per second on impact. Bi-metal jackets are fine. Rifles no closer than 100 yards (magnum rounds 200 yards) and pistols no closer than 10 yards. No steel core/solid copper bullets please! This plate is over $80 to replace with shipping.

Maybe let everyone else over "there" know that they should bring the appropriate ammo if they would like to use the steel plate.
