Cerakoted my S&W 4013
#1
I took about a 50% beating from the folks from another forum that responded to my Cerakote finish. I love this look and think that these "paint jobs" on firearms add to completeness and the personalization of any firearm. Let me know what you think. It's done in Graphite black and O.D Green. I can't wait until I get a 1911, I just may use the exact same colors.

No offense, but it looked a whole lot better before you refinished it.

No offense taken at all! Smile It's not for everybody

I would love to see pictures of other firearms with a Cerakote finish from other members here.

I just got my HK P7 partially ceramic-silver coated in a tri color arrangement.

Slide, mag release, squeezecocker: Hard chrome plated
Frame, internals and gas piston: Silver ceramic coated
Slide release, trigger, take down button and protruding firing pin: flat black ceramic finish

Here is a pic. I went for a lot more of a bling effect with mine:

I like it, nice job. A lot of people don't like my RIA 1911 I had cerakoted, black slide fde frame. I thought it looked great. Your gun so as long as you like, that's all that really matters.

Most of my guns are all blue/black. I have three that aren't. A Remington 870 Wingmaster that is blued with wood furniture. A Stevens single shot .22 that is blued with a wood stock. And a Colt 1860 Army replica that is blued with a brass grip frame and wood grips.
