Change your way of thinking !
#1
For conversation sake only .
Lets' say the un-sinkable Titanic was the planet earth . On this ship there are only three types of thinkers aboard this ship.
1-The arrogant this ship is un-sinkable , I shall go to the bar and drink !

2- The deer in the head lights , what shall I do , where will I go.what to do ?

3- The thinker , this boat is sinking , how do I survive ?

When met with this circumstance . There is "Grief" and the five stages of grief are :
1-Denial :  Your dead
2-anger  ; get over yourself
3-Bargaining  :Think of what you could have done and do it ,SURVIVAL!
4-Depression  : Again , get over your self or die !
5-Acceptance  : you know the problem do what you must , SURVIVE !

According to the Inca calendar , it did not say the end , but a new begging !

It was the Incan's until the Mayans won a patent lawsuit, claiming that the Incans violated thier "device for tracking days and years in a sphere".

Now every iCalendar is considered Mayan.

Stop that, you'll attract Andrew with that kind of talk and then we'll have an endless discussion about how the Inca and Maya were evil for having a patent system.

Notice how neither are around anymore?  Because they didn't count on the Spanish patent system Wink

I'll tell ya a little about myself, preparing for disaster is something that I've been thinking about since the middle of highschool, so many years ago.  It's something that I've contemplated, what if'ed, and planned for, for a very long time.  It isn't something I just started thinking about a short time ago.

There's no way you can be prepared for every thing that could possibly go wrong, and you cannot prepare for every contingency, but you can at least try to mitigate your risk and have the essentials of survival on hand.

The failure to produce oil is completely and totally political.  Political views can and do change, provided the public requires they change.

I seem to remember reading that areas where they pumped the oil dry have actually refilled to a point.  I believe it is possible that the world is still making oil.
