Amber Alert issued for Saavni Venna, baby abducted from homicide scene in Upper Merion



UPPER MERION TWP., Pa. -
State police have issued an Amber Alert for the abduction of a baby from a homicide scene in Montgomery County.

The Upper Merion Township Police Department is searching for Saavni Venna, a 10-month-old Asian Indian girl who weighs 21 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. She was last wearing a white dress with pink flowers.

That alert is for Bucks, Montgomery and all nearby areas. Hope this turns out well.

My wife and I were driving through Upper Merion as this was unfolding. Tons of response vehicles zooming past us to get to that area and they eventually brought out the helicopters. Very sad and I hope they recover the child.
