Cigar smokers' Meet & Greet II

You're a regular at Tim's shop. It has been a long time since I've been there (I stopped in right after the private lounge opened up). He was doing pretty well (quickly outgrowing his second walk-in).

One of these days I need to get back down there. I used to spend a lot of time at Kensington Tobacconist in Reading. When the shop went out of business, I started spending less and less time in cigar shops.

The Reading Cigar Cigars location is horrible and I'm amazed that it hasn't been closed yet. About the only time I go in there is if I need a can of butane.

Edit:
For what its worth, Tia is pretty nice (I used to be a frequent visitor when the store first opened). I don't like one of the employees (treats everyone like a thief - following them around while doing a horrible job of pretending to do busywork). If that one employee went away and they cleaned / freshened the place up a bit, I'd be much more inclined to visit.

Never been to the Reading store... obviously. But Horsham and Colmar are nice. Rob and Scott have been super nice to me since I'm just starting out.

I haven't been to any of the other locations (I almost stopped in the Pheonixville store a few times but I was short on time).

Rob used to make regular trips out to the Reading store once a week and I would make sure to stop in and visit while he was there. I hung out with him in Vegas when I went to my first IPCPR trade show. He is a good guy.

As an aside to everyone who met me & my wife...she would have been the only woman there, you know, the one looking very pregnant.

Our son was born; everything went well. We are home now. Prayers would be welcome, he was a C-section and mommy hurts a little.

Congrats! Happy to hear that all went well. Hope you're gonna name him 'mistake'.

No, not because of how he was conceived.... but because gnbrotz was handing out cigars called "CI MIstakes'. Big Grin

I stopped in at Sir Stogies over the weekend (I was in the neighborhood an needed to kill a few hours while my wife was at a baby-shower). The shop looks great.

It looks like I might be moving pretty soon. If that happens, I'll be living about a mile down the road from the shop. I guess I'll have to consider becoming a member in the private lounge.
