CNN reporting from alternate universe

No wonder CNN has the worst ratings in 20 years. Ive checked BBC, Foxnews, Dailymail, RT.com etc: tensions in the M.E. are escalating, US is pulling non essential personnel from embassy posts, muslim protests are now reaching Europe and the Pacific....but yet CNN doesnt see any of it:

As protests calm, tensions remain as U.S. seeks to protect embassies - CNN Headline CNN Story

WTF is wrong with these people at CNN?

I think if more people would open their eyes, and stop getting all their info from the MSM, there would be mass panic.

The majority of people I have come across, even those I work with are so out of touch with the world around us, that it really doesn't shock me any more.

I mentioned at work the other day when all this started happening. One of the girls thought it was an isolated incident. One small issue, in one small place.

Our country is in serious trouble. And something needs to be done. I don't condone violence. But we need to stop apologizing because someone might get offended. I am offended that American citizens in embassys are being attacked and killed. Where is the apology to me, the American voter?

We need to pull out of anything that isn't the USA, and fix our own problems. If someone wants to pick a fight with us after that, fine. Don't just send in troops. Make sure that maps will have to be updated with the changed landscape.

In WWII, we said we had enough. And we did a horrific, and terrible thing. Countless people were killed, maimed, or impacted in less physical ways. At that point, we as a country stood up and said "No, not any more." That effectively ended the conflict.

To be at that point, where we would resort to using weapons like that. I am not saying we should nuke the middle east. Not in the least. But when people are rioting and pulling these stunts, at an embassy? No more Mr. Politically correct.

And denial is such a warm, cozy blanket. Well, until one wakes up and realizes they were ignoring problems for so long there is nothing left that they can do...

This is not surprising. Most of the major American news outlets were late in reporting the violence and a lot of them covered it for 5 minutes. Terrorist attacks on Americans and the MSM covers it for 5 minutes Angry

I usually have to go to other media sources to figure out what the hell is really going on in the world.

We absolutely have to get our news about this from outside the MSM.
