CO house passes 4 anti-2a bills, senate likely to pass too

Quote:The proposed ammunition restrictions place a limit of 15 rounds for firearms, and eight for shotguns. Three Democrats joined all Republicans voting no on the bill, but the proposal passed 34-31.

...

The House also approved a bill requiring background checks on all gun purchases, including those between private sellers and firearms bought online.
Other proposals would ban concealed firearms at colleges and stadiums, and another requires that gun purchasers pay for their own background checks. Democrats eked out the closest vote on the background check measure, which passed on a 33-32 vote.

The senate is stacked 20-15 D/R.

Quote:That means Republicans need only three Democrats to join them to defeat the bills.

And they will get those three votes. The Colorado house has already 3 dem. votes against them and believe you me that there will be more coming.

Isn't magpul based in CO?

I am interested in seeing what they might do or say.

Magpul is already prepped to start Pmag production at another location while they move operations out of state. These pass, they're gone along with several hundred jobs.

as far as gun loving mecca states goes, tennessee seems to be pretty awesome. they were the first to pass a federal firearm exemption law and their cwp's reciprocity map is basically every state that allows private ownership of firearms.

Tennessee requires training and the first issue is $115.00 for four years. I do like the reciprocity that they have, definitely on my retirement list. Wink
