After 15 years of work, researchers have developed a process that takes energy from coal without burning it — and removes nearly all of the pollution — which could cut billions of tons of carbon dioxide emissions in the US.

I remember that in the 70's there was a guy that made an engine that would run on regular tap water.

He mysteriously disappeared.

Nah, he did it himself. He got ahead of himself, and figured out how to make it transport but NOT receive.

Moral of the story: Don't think your task is finished at the half-way point.
