Congress Prepares $100 Million Bipartisan Flu Tax

The only thing these fucktards know how to do.

Congress is preparing to take action on a bipartisan proposal to raise taxes on flu vaccines. This is not a tax on the wealthy, but rather on a broad swath of Americans, or at least those who choose to be immunized against the flu.

In February, identical bills were introduced in the House and Senate to add seasonal flu vaccines to the IRS code as taxable. The legislation would exact a 75¢ per dose tax on any "vaccine against seasonal influenza." Given that the Centers for Disease Control projects that 135 million doses of flu vaccine will be used this year, the government's take on flu vaccines alone is over $100,000,000 per year.

Mr. Dickens determined that if people don't get flu vaccinations it will help get rid of the excess population.

Wait...huh? So, the gov't pushes and pushes and pushes people to get flu vaccines...pediatricians act like you're a kid-killer if you don't get them for your kids....and NOW they are going to tax them as if they're trying to restrict them, similar to taxing soda by the ounce?

Oh good grief.

Unless that was the plan all along....push flu vaccines nationwide, and once everyone is used to getting them and fooled into the idea that they are absolutely mandatory, THEN you rake in the dough.

Got it.

Couple that with the number of politicians that have their hands in the pockets of the pharmaceutical companies. Now you're catching on.

Hey wow! A tax I finally won't have to pay, at least until the government actually mandates everyone get them.

That is exactly the plan. You push the issue, make sure millions of people rely on it. And then you slide a tiny little tax on it. It isn't a big one, the average person won't care. You just take a little bite of the pie. And then you take that tiny little bite millions of times.
This will be the best security for maintaining our liberties. A nation of well-informed men who have been taught to know and prize the rights which God has given them cannot be enslaved. It is in the religion of ignorance that tyranny begins. -Ben Franklin

I wonder if mandatory flu shots are a part of OCare...

It's a tax I won't have to pay. I have never in my entire life received a flu shot and when I heard that 90% of the employees at Sanofi (the company that makes the shot) won't/refuse to get them I feel even better with my choice.
