Conn. senator wants Fox to pull plug on NRA race
guess he never heard of the first amendment

Quote:FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) -- A U.S. senator from Connecticut has sent a letter to media mogul Rupert Murdoch asking that Fox network not broadcast Saturday night's NASCAR Sprint Cup race sponsored by the National Rifle Association.

Democratic Sen. Chris Murphy wrote to the News Corp. chief that the race is taking place during Senate consideration of legislation to reduce gun violence in the wake of the elementary school shootings last December in Newtown, Conn. Murphy said the race will give national attention ''to an organization that has been the face of one side of this heated debate.''

Fox officials declined comment Thursday. The NRA 500 from Texas Motor Speedway will be broadcast as scheduled.

Murphy also questioned the Victory Lane tradition at Texas, where the winner gets a cowboy hat and can fire six-shooters loaded with blanks into the air.
It's the "BILL OF RIGHTS" not the bill of "needs"
What a fucking pussy.
Soldats ! Faites votre devoir ! Droit au cœur mais épargnez le visage. Feu !

Murphy's law: If a Senator can go wrong, he will go wrong.

He joins a sad set of crazed politicians who demand punishment for those exercising their First Amendment rights and opposing their radical left wing agenda. Fox Network joins Chick-fil-A and the Boy Scouts of America.
NASCAR is more popular than hockey, basketball, and baseball. Only football has more TV viewers than NASCAR. Fox will not drop the race.

I'm not a big NASCAR fan but I will watch in support of NASCAR, FOX and the NRA for standing up to the liberal menace! 'MERICA...FUCK YEAH!
A Reading from the Book of Armaments, Chapter 4, Verses 16 to 20:

Then did he raise on high the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch, saying, "Bless this, O Lord, that with it thou mayst blow thine enemies to tiny bits, in thy mercy." And the people did rejoice and did feast upon the lambs and toads and tree-sloths and fruit-bats and orangutans and breakfast cereals ... Now did the Lord say, "First thou pullest the Holy Pin. Then thou must count to three. Three shall be the number of the counting and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither shalt thou count two, excepting that thou then proceedeth to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the number of the counting, be reached, then lobbest thou the Holy Hand Grenade in the direction of thine foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it."
He should push Conn. media to just black-out the broadcast. Let me know how that works out for him. Think of the children!

Admit nothing.  Deny everything. Demand proof.
If we lie to the government, it's a crime. If the government lies to the people, it's called politics.
Paying for welfare is slavery.
I've never been to a NASCAR race, no real desire. But it's populated by freedom loving Americans that average around 100,000 per race.

Of course that doesn't include the millions watching on TV or listening to the radio. It makes sense for the NRA to sponsor a race.

The Second Amendment does not GIVE us the right. It tells the gov they can not infringe our right.
