That's fine and dandy but here's the kicker...

Anyone can still go buy a blackpowder revolver.
Anyone can still buy the cylinder to convert it to fire .44 long.

Never crossed your mind did it Tommyboy?

Not sure whether it crossed his mind or not but he can only sign bills that are passed in both houses so it is what was writ. Wink

There's a lot of merit behind this new law, but I'd be surprised if the Philly District Attorney's Office actually enforces it or drops the charge for a guilty plea to a lesser charge. Dodgy

You can have all the laws on the books but if no one enforces it, it won't do much good. Look at how few cases the ATF prosecutes for falsifying background check forms. They don't even slap anyone on the wrists.

Right, because lots of people do that to circumvent being prohibited.

BTW: I support this law. I also support universal NICS on all gun sales, for the smallest fee possible. And i want it open 24/7 for FTF sales too.

There's been "mandatory sentencing" laws on the books for years. They are almost universally NEVER ENFORCED.

Between the probations, pleads, and paroles, our "representatives' unleash known repeat offenders to prey on the public over and over.

And each and every time, a lawyer gets paid again, with OUR money, to defend them once again.

If anyone really gave a rats ass about gun violence, the revolving door would be stopped.

The parole boards, lenient Judges and plea bargainers are our worst enemies and should be held accountable.

But then again, that would place the blame directly on the cause and not on the 99.999999% of law abiding citizens, who didn't do it.

And this is how you know the the whole 2A assault is merely step 1 of their agenda.

Disarm the subjects.

How about "anyone who uses a gun to commit a crime gets a bullet in the head?"

I'd be behind that.
