Crime in PA by County

There is a great little interactive map here Pennsylvanians For Self Protection - Crime Statistics that opens a flyer when you click on a county.

This is a great way to start the conversation with friends and family who ask why you carry.

It should make for some interesting conversation at the Thanksgiving Dinner table. Big Grin

Makes me want to move to Potter county. "Of the 29 crimes that take
occur each year in Potter County..." lmao

Isn't 29 about 1/4th the population?

Looks like the eastern part of the state is a hot bed of crime.

Yeah, well, when you have Philly, Camden, and Trenton right there, it doesn't help us Easterners out one bit.... bleh.

I think the Bucks County stats are grossly under estimated or under reported. I know Middletown Twp. doesnt give the real numbers or stories to papers. We here in Lower Bucks have become an extension of NE Philly.Angry

And of Trenton. There are alot of gang members that moved to Bucks from Jersey. It's my understanding that the Crips or the Bloods are alive and well in Morrisville

I'm going to guess that Upper Bucks may sort of outweigh Lower Bucks for those stats....plus of course I agree about the under reporting.

I'm in Middletown, which isn't as bad as Morrisville (Trenton) or Bensalem and Bristol (Philly). But it's not great.
