A couple of knives I've purchased from my mentor, Mr. Carr. Blades are 1095 and 15n20. Engraved by Mr. Keith Casteel. Blades forged in a small shop here in Westmoreland county.

Top finished with stag and nickle silver, bottom with figured maple and copper

His prices for a damascus knife start at $350 and go up from there depending on bolster material, filework, engraving and inlays. Last we discussed it a stainless blade was around $150. I haven't asked recently what the wait list is like.

Uses a gas forge and either a trip hammer or a homemade forging press to forge the blades.

Here's a stainless knife that I made a couple years ago, gave it to my BIL for Christmas. Stainless blade, nickel silver bolsters, mosaic pins, and walnut scales. Was patterned after a blade purchased from a knife supplier, cut from a piece of 8A

Some phone pics of the filework on the spine, as I was working on it
