Quote:Democrat Terry McAuliffe projected to win Va. governor's race

Democrat Terry McAuliffe is projected to win the Virginia gubernatorial race, defeating Republican nominee Ken Cuccinelli in a surprisingly close victory.

Fox News projected McAuliffe as the winner Tuesday night.

The closely watched raced pitted a Tea Party-backed Republican and an establishment Democrat locked in an expensive, ideological battle whose outcome is expected to set a course for the 2014 and 2016 elections -- in large part forcing the GOP to consider whether a strong conservative candidate is the party’s best pick to win a national election.

Cuccinelli, trailing late by single digits, tried unsuccessfully to use voter dissatisfaction with ObamaCare to stage a come-from-behind victory over the better-funded McAuliffe, who was able to flood TV and radio airwaves with negative ads from practically start to finish.

And so it begins.....2014 is not looking too good.
The only thing needed for the triumph of evil, is that good men do nothing.

Thanks to the democrat funded "libertarian" spoiler. This should show people why they have to examine their candidates closely. The Dems are actively cheating the system. Now that they know we know about the voter fraud, they've simply gone up to candidate fraud. The tree needs watering.

Maryland is no better, starting January they are allowing illegals to get a drivers license. 2016 will be the deathblow to America

Republicans funded Nader... It is not the spoiler its that they ran a candidate that was a dog.. the 7% that voted for the libertarian wouldn't have voted for the republican. I'm surprised he did as well as he did I expected over 10% for the libertarian. Right now the VCDL is having a shit fit because this guy might very well undo a decade of gains for gun rights. If only all the Republicans voted for the libertarian but its their all or nothing and im taking my marbles and going home attitude that got the dem a win..

The saddest part is the low voter turnout. We as gun owners need to turn out and vote and not waste our vote on distraction candidates.

It was the Bill Clinton strategy, throw out a phony opponent to siphon votes away from the real opponent. Everyone saw it coming a mile away.

Hes not a phoney opponent. Nor was he funded for shit but it's a way to make yourself feel better when your party keeps fucking the pooch.

He was funded. Funded by well known Democrat bundlers. Oddly enough, his single largest campaign contributor was also a very large Obama contributor.

Which party is mine, by the way?

Divide & Conquer is one of the oldest strategies in the book. It's pretty remarkable how efficiently Democrats have been able to employ this.
