Desulfation of Lead/Acid Batteries
Been seeing some guy on CL advertising reviving old batteries, so I figured I'd look around and see how it's done. I ran across the following video:

If you click on his video description, he has a list of other videos on the same subject. Looks feasible and is just basic chemistry. What do you guys think? Is it safe, other than the natural danger of dealing with sulfuric acid?
I thought this was done electronically.

You could always make sure your batteries always have a full charge too or switch to deep cycle.

john bedini also has a way to do this. look into it.
I'm testing out the epson salt method right now. I had a battery from an old riding mower in the garage. Put in some of the mixture and then topped it off with distilled water. It's on the charger right now. Be interesting to see how it goes.

The car battery that I did this too seems to be holding it's charge now. It wasn't before. I'm not going to say it's back to brand new, because I doubt that it is. But it's working good enough that I can test out my trolling motor with it.
