Dick's Pulling Modern Sporting Rifles

I'm sure they all had board meetings and decided loss of gun sales is an acceptable loss.

That, or they are all being TOLD to suspend/end gun sales.

Nope, Walmart still has guns up on their site to include the Sig M400. 73 different rifle models in total.

Don't think so. If you go to that gun, it says "in stores only" and then if you click on the link, it says "not carried in your store". They've been pulled.

At least in my area they aren't being sold. Not sure if they were yesterday, but they're not today. Pretty sure they've pulled all the "modern sporting rifles"....

There hasn't been a Wally World in southeastern PA selling guns (other than air) for quite while now.

I have to go buy another phone card today, I'll have to swing by the sporting goods and see if they are still there, It's been a while since I looked, but I think all I remember seeing is hunting rifles, and shotguns.

Only certain stores are permitted to carry MSRs. My local store can't even order them, even though they sell firearms. Another store that's 40 miles away sells them - that's where I bought my M&P 15-22. I haven't been by to see if they pulled them, though.

Until I see a statement from Walmart like shown by DSG or CTD, I'm not jumping on the "ban Walmart" bandwagon.

Paradigm

Looks like there's conflicting information, but evidently you guys are right, Walmart has not changed...maybe the journalists were looking at the site like I was and assuming they pulled them.

Quote:"We have made no changes to the assortment of guns we sell in our stores," Walmart spokesperson Kory Lundberg said in a written statement.

I stand corrected.

Walmart has sold out of AR's

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-12-19...ge-on.html

Searches of five kinds of semi-automatic rifles on Wal- Mart’s website showed them to be out of stock at stores in five states, including Pennsylvania, Kansas and Alabama. Wal-Mart doesn’t sell guns online, instead asking customers to input a zip code to see if their local store carries a specific weapon.
