Silver plummeted a WHOPPING 10% in just a few hours this morning!!!

Gold suffered its worst two-day selling spree in 30 years, with the metal falling down to $1,366, from a level of $1,500 on Friday. The 9 percent dive in gold follows a five percent decline in the metal Friday.

"I think the last $20 has been margin selling. The market is falling like a knife. People are saying, 'Get me out now,' " Phoenix Futures President Kevin Grady said. "You're also seeing people selling energy profits to pay for metals losses. You're seeing a tremendous amount of gold liquidation today."

Could it be knee jerking trends? If I had gold or silver, I think I would wait it out. Precious metals will always remain precious unless the market becomes flooded.

A Reading from the Book of Armaments, Chapter 4, Verses 16 to 20:

Then did he raise on high the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch, saying, "Bless this, O Lord, that with it thou mayst blow thine enemies to tiny bits, in thy mercy." And the people did rejoice and did feast upon the lambs and toads and tree-sloths and fruit-bats and orangutans and breakfast cereals ... Now did the Lord say, "First thou pullest the Holy Pin. Then thou must count to three. Three shall be the number of the counting and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither shalt thou count two, excepting that thou then proceedeth to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the number of the counting, be reached, then lobbest thou the Holy Hand Grenade in the direction of thine foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it."

I'm going to wait it out. I don't really have anything in good, and a decent amount of silver. This is really not terrible. I bought some a few years ago when it was less than $10 an ounce, and I bought some when it was just over $30 an ounce.

I will say, the local pawn shop has stopped selling silver. Says he doesn't want to lose money on it. I explained that is the nature of the beast, only worth what it is worth.

But apex still has small silver packages available.
This will be the best security for maintaining our liberties. A nation of well-informed men who have been taught to know and prize the rights which God has given them cannot be enslaved. It is in the religion of ignorance that tyranny begins. -Ben Franklin

I've got a few shares of a silver ETF. Nothing to do at this point but hold and wait for it to come back up.
