Discuss those who are running for Pa governor

Didn't somebody on PAFOA get butt hurt because people told him to fuck off when he tried advocating for Tom Wolf? I think it had to do with Wolf supporting gun control, but wanting to legalize pot. Most people on PAFOA said they rather have guns than pot, and they chewed him a new one.

For the record I don't care about this Wolf guy. I started a thread so we can discuss pro and coms of those in the running.

PA is pretty screwed on gubernatorial choices. Corbett is boought and paid for by the fuel industry, Wolf wants "sensible" gun control, Kane is a Bloomburg puppet, and Schwartz...well, fuck us sideways.

My comment wasn't directed at you, I was asking a serious question. I know that incident happened at PAFOA, but I don't know if it was over Tom Wolf or somebody else. And yes, Jah pretty much summed everything up. Realistically speaking, I'll probably vote for Corbett.

I found it. The whole marijuana and gun control thing was over John Hanger. That entire thread can be found here. Basically John Hanger supports marijuana legalization, but also wants mag limits.

Also stolen from PAFOA some guy named Rob McCord is running. Via his campaign page:
Quote:"As governor, McCord will:

Require background checks on all guns purchased at gun shows and online.
Require gun owners to report lost or stolen firearms, which often end up in the hands of criminals.
Lobby the federal government to reinstate the federal ban on dangerous assault weapons.
Ensure the Pennsylvania State Police complement is fully staffed and put more troopers on patrol to keep our communities safe.
Reward communities that maintain their own police force rather than shift responsibility to the State Police and the costs of protection to the state.
Equip law enforcement agents with better technology and equipment so they can operate more efficiently and effectively and share information and data across multiple agencies to keep the focus on eliminating crime at its source.

I agree with Patriot. Jah summed it up very well. Anytime I hear "common sense" control I know there is going to be a lot BS coming from the person saying it.Dodgy

So McCord seems to be the only Dem who has spelled out his position. It's bad, but at least he's letting us know he's not our kind of guy. The rest so far are trying to fly under the radar.

Anyone who runs a commercial with the tag line "but we'll make them pay" should not be allowed to hold a public office. That nails a whole hell of a lot of politicians.
