Admit nothing.  Deny everything. Demand proof.
If we lie to the government, it's a crime. If the government lies to the people, it's called politics.

Sometimes I think that, in the long run, the only way that this nation will be able to survive is with regionalization and separate governments reporting to a very nominal centralized government. The constitutionalists in one part of the nation, the far right in their part of the nation, the far left in theirs, perhaps an area specifically for centerists who don't comprehend what the Constitution means. Very sad. Sad

You mean like the original intentions of the Constitution?

You want to help the country in the long run?

Quit your job tomorrow, and go get on welfare and food stamps. Break the system from the inside.

The US is already borrowing .40 on every dollar it spends. If all the breadearners quit and went on welfare, the whole house of cards would collapse in literally months.

Europe is on the edge of collapse, and the U.S. will follow shortly after.

This is the only way it is going work. Everyone sits on their moral high ground which I understand, saying that they will never get anything from the govt. How long will people try the same solution to the same problem? Kind of like repeatedly trying to stick the square peg into the round hole. Sooner or later you have to try a different solution to tackle the problem. I say tell everyone you know to try to get public assistance of some kind. That is the only way to break the system. They will have to create more restrictions, hoops to jump through, ect.

Actually, the US is far ahead of Europe on the road to collapse.

Essentially, yes, but to an even lesser degree. Something on the order of multiple nation-states having mutual defense treaties and open borders with one another for trade and communications only. Each with their own version of citizenship requirements.

With the country split 50/50 like it is I think it makes perfect sense to each go our own way. The problem is, the takers and the freeloaders are mixed within us all and won't pick up and move their asses where they need to go.
