... trump the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness?"

That was a question asked not too long ago on MSNBC. I was watching to see how badly they were exploiting this tragedy to push their anti gun agenda, and as no surprise, they're milking it for all it's worth.

However, that question, disingenuous that it is, really took me aback. It shows just how out of touch they really are, and how much I really underestimated the irrationality and stupidity of the anti-gun left.

They don't get that the Second Amendment PROTECTS those rights. A concept they'll never grasp.

Apparently there is a poll somewhere on this, but I can't find it. They did post some of their viewership's responses, and of course, they were all in favor of repealing the Second Amendment.

To them, I just say, good luck with that.

Haha. I love when they and even Fox runs viewer polls and then use the results to reinforce what they were saying.

Justin, didn't you get the memo? The progressive left knows everything, is never wrong, and should decide "what is best" for the rest of society. Wink

......but in all seriousness, I too have been thinking about what you just stated ever since this horrific incident occurred. What pisses me off to no end is when the ANTIs state that gun owners like to take these incidents and use them to start posting as much pro-2A information as possible. The only reason this happens is because the left love to milk these incidents for all that they are worth and use people's emotions to their advantage. Gun owners are simply defending their freedoms and themselves against the ANTIs' cheap tricks. Sorry, I know I am preaching to the choir on here, but it feels good getting this stuff off my mind.

You're preaching to the choir.

Buts lets be honest here, if one of the teachers pulled out a .44 to drop this SOB the NRA and everybody here would be using it as an example for our side.

There are examples of just that; but the media will never use them.

Oh, absolutely! That would be a righteous celebration, IMO. What MSNBC is going, is playing videos of the children, showing photos, etc, and then engaging in anti gun rhetoric. I think that's sick.

Then again, I can see how they might consider what they're doing as righteous.

Well, that's generally what people are referring to when they use the term, media. Media generally doesn't include internet blogs and talk radio. Even though they technically are a form of media, they're not the media of which we usually speak.

So do you guys thinks the NRA is being lazy and stupid for not coming out to support the second amendment (their main story on the front page of their website is from 11/27/2012)?

......or do you guys think they are being polite and waiting for the children to be buried and emotions to calm down before they start advocating for firearms rights?
