dumb anti article of the month award

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/army-handg...00885.html

There’s a new semi-automatic handgun on the horizon for the Army that U.S. consumers may have access to almost immediately. When that happens, America’s emergency rooms better be prepared for the carnage that’s likely to follow.

wow. just freakin wooooow. They say if you put enough monkies in a room with enough typewriters you'll eventually get Shakespeare...

apparently, if you put enough libtards in a room with the internet, they'll post an article worthy of a Shakespearean tragedy, ergo... the idiots that wrote, published, or support this article should all drink a cup of poisoned wine (Hamlet) whilst stabbing each other repeatedly (Julius Caesar) or smothering each other with pillows (Othello). You are welcome for the culture, because all gun owners are also mouth breathing rednecks with lots of cammo and bad teeth, according to these same literati. That means "smart-like people who know how to read them fancy books", by the way.

Well shit, let's hope so!

Hell, let's hope that they adopt a pistol that is ALREADY well-proven in the consumer and law-enforcement markets. Who needs to spend more tax-dollars re-inventing the wheel? Just pick a great existing wheel, mount a nice tire on it, and drive off?

All I want to see is that it's made in a US factory, by American workers. If that's a Glock under license, well desert camo everywhere already looks ugly and stupid anyway, so how could it get worse?

"America’s emergency rooms better be prepared for the carnage that’s likely to follow."

It tickled my funny bone and I guffawed exuberantly.

"The goal is to develop something far more advanced and powerful than the Cold-War era Beretta M9"

Thought ammo was the bigger contributing factor to destructive force not the platform that it comes out of. But what do I know. Maybe they'll miniaturize the Hadron Collider's accelerator equipment and put them inside the handguns, and we'll have like 9mm automatic sniper pistol that is used by our troops in the military in Afghanistan that has the ability with a 30-caliber clip to disperse with 30 bullets within half a second with baby killers flooding the streets in celebration.

.....The above is sarcasm. Gun grabbers, please, open a dictionary and find the definition of sarcasm. It's located between the definitions for sad and stupid.

I dunno if this was posted but this article reminds me of another Yahoo Finance article discussing "Beretta's new super rifle" that is "unusually powerful." Wish people would stop talking about things they are not qualified to talk about, but I noticed with sheeple that if you speak authoritatively on a subject they are all bound to believe you regardless of the veracity of your claims. Why does Yahoo Finance keep posting about gun control anyways, shouldn't they be posting terrible financial advice? If their financial articles are about as accurate as their gun control ones though, I fear for anyone using Yahoo Finance regularly.

I find the timing of the search for a new weapon highly suspect, coming in the heels of Beretta's announcement to move more of it's US operations out of anti-gun Maryland, to a more gun friendly Tennessee. I have to wonder if this isn't political "tit for tat".

Tennessee's in America.

And the search for a military pistol with more stopping power than the 9mm was initiated quite some time ago.

I reject your reality and substitute my own.

And so it is, the last time I looked. My point was that right after the announced move, the government officially made public it's desire to move away from Beretta, as if to screw Beretta for its stand against liberal Maryland.

As far as the change, Beretta has also offered suggestions and ideas for replacement/improvement yet, according to Beretta, the government seems unwilling to even entertain.
